In 1969, the journey of Georg-Büchnerr-Gymnasium began. It was founded in the nearby town of Löwenich. However, the school quickly outgrew its initial home. By 1973, it found its permanent residence right here in Weiden. This wasn’t just a building. It was a vision for a new kind of education.
