More than just a jewellery school SquarePeg houses 13 practicing jewellers. Each artist boasts a unique style. Fiona Mellor creates wearable art and sculptures. Linda Blair works with enamel and carved wood. Momoko Hatano’s contemporary collections are renowned. Pierre Cavalan blends traditional techniques with mixed media. Emily Copp uses 3D printing and laser etching. Zoe Pollitt’s typography-inspired work is gaining attention. Som Luong’s whimsical designs are sold through Studio Melt. The studio also offers a residency program for emerging artists. Three recent graduates get a three-month residency each year. This fosters a dynamic environment.
