The story of Emmanuel Baptist Church begins a few years earlier, in 1973. A small group of believers gathered in nearby Kellyville, laying the foundation for what would become a vibrant community. They dreamed of a permanent home. In 1976, that dream took root here in Glenwood with the purchase of this land and the construction of a simple church hall. Imagine the early days, the echoes of hymns within those walls, a testament to their faith. Fast forward to 2012, the original hall made way for the contemporary structure you see before you. The Emmanuel Baptist Church isn’t just bricks and mortar. It’s a living testament to the dedication and perseverance of its congregation. They formed in Kellyville. They built a hall in Glenwood. They ultimately built this beautiful complex. While the physical structure has evolved, the core beliefs remain steadfast. The Emmanuel Baptist Church is anchored in the teachings of the Bible.
