“Have you ever heard of a church reborn?” I ask, as we stand before the Palavra Viva Igreja Evangélica. This unassuming building holds a story of resilience and renewal. The Palavra Viva Igreja Evangélica was initially founded on October 19, 2015, in Santa Rita do Passa Quatro. Pastor Abrahão Jesus de Souza led the founding along with several dedicated members. The church’s early years established its commitment to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They sought to create a community focused on transformation through faith. This transformation encompassed every aspect of a person’s life, from their mind and heart to their work, family, and relationships. However, the Palavra Viva Igreja Evangélica’s journey took an unexpected turn. They joined forces with another ministry in the city for a time. Then in 2021, a divine calling led them back to their original path. The Palavra Viva Igreja Evangélica reopened its doors. They re-established themselves as an independent community, revitalized and ready to continue their mission. This rebirth marked a new chapter in the church’s history. It reaffirmed their dedication to proclaiming the Gospel and fostering personal growth within their community. The Palavra Viva Igreja Evangélica stands as a testament to the power of faith and the enduring spirit of its congregation.
