Back in 2008, two schools, Kawasaki Shiritsu Ozensuji Chugakko and Kawasaki Shiritsu Shirayama Chugakko, combined their legacies. This union gave birth to the school we now know, affectionately nicknamed “Ochu-Chu”. The school’s motto emphasizes the “harmony of knowledge, virtue, and body.” Kawasaki Shiritsu Ozensuji Chuo Chugakko encourages students to pursue truth independently, cultivate positive relationships, and live healthy lives. This holistic approach is evident in the range of activities offered. From athletic clubs like basketball and soccer to cultural clubs such as brass band and arts and crafts, there’s something for everyone here. The school even shares a unique bond with Kawasaki Shiritsu Ozensuji Chuo Shogakko, the only elementary school within the same complex. They engage in collaborative projects and events.
