Long-standing members like Phillip Comans the chairperson are the backbone of the church. He regularly leads services. He shares his warmth and engaging personality. Bill and Sarn Watson are key decision-makers. They have been integral members for years. Bill’s creativity and Sarn’s kindness are infectious. Pam Tate manages the administrative side of things. She’s also known for her delicious homemade sausage rolls. A treat for those who attend morning tea.
Beyond Sunday services the church offers several activities. Every second Wednesday an inter-church prayer service takes place. It unites Avalon Beach Village Church with The Avalon Church-C3. The Avalon Quilters a group that has been meeting for over forty years continue their craft every Thursday. A community based daycare Pure Play also operates on the church premises.
