From those early days the Apostolic Assembly grew steadily. Francisco Llorente’s election as president in 1916 provided crucial leadership. This ensured the church’s continued expansion. By March 15 1930 the Assembly was officially incorporated in California.
Today the Apostolic Assembly boasts approximately 700 churches and over 106000 members across the United States. Twenty-six bishops oversee districts in 45 states. California Arizona and Texas show particularly high membership concentrations. The church also holds General Conferences every four years. These elect its board of directors and supervisory bishops.
The Apostolic Assembly’s influence stretches far beyond US borders. It has a significant presence in approximately 18 countries. This includes missions in Mexico the Caribbean and various Central and South American nations. Its reach extends to Europe with churches in Spain and Italy.
