Founded on February 24 1957 Springwood Baptist Church stands proudly. Thirteen dedicated members formed this vibrant community. This wasn’t just a building. It was a beacon of faith hope and love. The church’s mission is simple yet profound. It centers on Jesus Christ. It’s about discipleship. It’s about helping people learn to live as Jesus taught. It’s not about the building or programs but about following Jesus. This means embracing His compassion for the poor. It means putting others first. Springwood Baptist Church offers diverse services. There is an 830 am traditional hymn service. This mainly caters to the senior members. A 1030 am contemporary service welcomes families. Kidz Church runs concurrently. A more casual service is held at 350 pm. Finally a 600 pm contemporary service targets youth young adults and their families. All ages are welcome at any service though. Communion the Lord’s Supper is held monthly. It’s held at the 1030 am 350 pm and 600 pm services on the first Sunday. It’s also held at the 830 am service on the fourth Sunday. The church emphasizes that service times may vary. They encourage visitors to confirm the schedule before attending.
