The name Rishpon itself holds a fascinating story. The name committee initially proposed Rishpona, an artificial reconstruction of the supposed ancient name for Arsuf. This was based on a misreading of an Assyrian inscription. But the residents of Rishpon, proud of their unique community, chose the name Rishpon, which has similar elements to the original. Today, Rishpon is a vibrant community, known for its agricultural produce, beautiful scenery, and charming atmosphere.
