Samuel Ferreira’s journey began in Garça. He was consecrated as a pastor at 19. His education includes degrees from the Instituto Bíblico das Assembleias de Deus. He also studied at the University of California in Los Angeles and Universidade Paulista.
Samuel’s wife Keila Campos Costa Ferreira passed away in February 2025. She was deeply involved in the church. Keila presided over IDEAS CORAFESP CIBEN and ENEP. Together they had two children. Manoel Ferreira Neto leads the AD in Campinas. Marinna Ferreira leads the youth front of CORAFESP. She is part of the Brás Adoração group.
In 1999, Samuel Ferreira took over the presidency of Assembleia de Deus Ministério de Madureira in Campinas. In 2006, he became the president of AD do Brás. This appointment was made by the Convenção Nacional das Assembleias de Deus no Brasil CONAMAD. In 2017, Samuel Ferreira was consecrated as a bishop of the Assembleia de Deus Ministério de Madureira. This was done by Bishop Manoel Ferreira.
