Tallbohov Torp appeared in records in the early 1800s. The last family came from Björneborg in Finland. Karl Fredrik Suomi Vinberg was a widower and former art caster. In 1919, he came to Tallbohov with his four children. His housekeeper Elina Sofia Timgren was also Finnish. When Karl died in 1924, Elina took over the torp. She is listed as the leaseholder. She moved back to Finland in 1935 and the torp was torn down. The property then belonged to the F8 air flotilla.
In the 1940s, the air flotilla built a party place on the old torp site. It was on the wooded hill above the flotilla area. In the mid 1960s houses, the Tallbohovsskolan, and a daycare center surrounded the old torp site. The abandoned party place became a soccer field.
Today no traces remain of the torp. No garden exists and no party place can be found. Only some photos remain.
