As of 2021, Kingston offers essential amenities. You will find a dairy, a fish and chip shop, and a mechanic. The nearest post office is in Island Bay. It’s the NZ Post Centre Island Bay.
Kingston is part of the Kingston-Mornington-Vogeltown statistical area. In 2013, the area had a population of 2208. This was a decrease of 48 people since 2006. Kingston offers a blend of suburban living and community spirit. It’s a suburb shaped by its history and landscape.
