How about a taste of tradition? Here at Weinbau Beranek, we’re not just serving wine. We’re pouring over 40 years of family history into every glass.
In April 1982 Elfriede and Gerhard Beranek opened Weinbau Beranek here at Ketzergasse 429. Their sons Michael and Wolfgang then took the reins. Both had graduated in 1987 from Klosterneuburg. It is the prestigious Federal Institute for Viticulture. After school, the brothers began to produce the wine themselves. They cultivate vineyards in Mauer, Perchtoldsdorf, Brunn am Gebirge, Pfaffstätten and Baden.
Today, Weinbau Beranek welcomes you to a cozy Heurigen atmosphere. Michael and Martina Beranek now run the winery. Our local is divided into three rooms. It offers space for about 120 people.
Outside of our designated opening times we are happy to host private celebrations. These include weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. We can tailor the space to your needs. Think custom table arrangements and decorations for approximately 30 people or more.
In summer there is nothing better than sitting outside and drinking a good glass of wine. Our garden offers sunny and shady spots. There’s space for around 150 people.
Parents with children are also well catered for. We have our own secured playground. It features swings, a slide, a climbing frame, and a playhouse. Parents can relax. You can keep a watchful eye from the family tables.
Weinbau Beranek emphasizes regional and homemade cuisine. We offer a wide variety of wines made from our own grapes. Our motto is simple. The guest should always be king.
Our selection includes Frizzante and other sparkling wines. We have a variety of white wines. These include Grüner Veltliner, Muskateller, and Gemischter Satz. Taste our red wines. We offer Zweigelt, St. Laurent, and Blaufränkisch. We also offer a variety of grape juices.
You can purchase our wines directly from the Buschenschank. We also offer house deliveries. Weinbau Beranek is open Monday to Sunday and holidays from 9am to 11pm. Enjoy the flavors of Vienna. Experience the hospitality of Weinbau Beranek. We look forward to welcoming you.
