Rehoboth Faith Cathedral isn’t just a building. It’s a living testament to community. Founded in 1988 by Bishop James Howell and his wife Marzetta. It blossomed into a multicultural haven. A place where diverse voices unite in worship.
The Howells’ vision was simple yet powerful. To perfect their purpose in God’s kingdom. This vision guided every decision. Every ministry reflects a literal interpretation of scripture. The congregation actively embraces the gifts of the spirit. A tangible energy fills the air during services.
Rehoboth Faith Cathedral boasts 750 active members. They are organized into three tribes: Benjamin Ephraim and Judah. This unique structure fosters a strong sense of belonging. It allows for personalized attention and support. Three elders and fifteen ministers help lead the congregation. They offer guidance and support.
More than just Sunday services. Rehoboth offers a wide array of programs. A vibrant arts and drama program flourishes. Christian education shapes young minds. Couples find support in Oneness couples ministry. The Kingdom Men and Straight up for Christ Girls groups provide mentorship. Women of Worth Women of Wisdom and Faith and Integrity cater to different age groups. An Overcomers substance abuse program shows compassion and hope. Youth young men’s family-life and seniors ministries offer targeted care. A prison ministry extends God’s love beyond the walls of the church. In 1998 Rehoboth Faith Cathedral celebrated its “Year of Jubilee.” The year of God’s favor. Special services were held. Guest ministers traveled from across the country. A barbecue and fireworks marked the occasion. The jubilant atmosphere reflected the Cathedral’s spirit.
