It began as the Ośrodek Medycyny Pracy Budowlanych in 1968. This center cared for construction workers in Warsaw.
In 1971, a hospital opened with five departments. These included internal medicine, occupational diseases, and rehabilitation. By 1976, a home for deserving construction workers was added. The Ośrodek Medycyny Pracy Budowlanych served 120,000 workers. It employed about 700 people of various specialties. Dr. Jerzy Pastwa created optimal rehabilitation conditions.

In 1999, it gained the status of an Independent Public Healthcare Institution. It then changed its name to Centrum Leczniczo-Rehabilitacyjne i Medycyny Pracy ATTIS.
Strategic restructuring led to new hospital units. These included an operative-surgical unit and an anesthesiology unit. These changes improved the hospital’s financial stability. Centrum ATTIS expanded its medical offerings. It became a modern hospital with excellent facilities.
In 2008, Centrum ATTIS performed its first thoracic surgery. This was innovative for Poland. The Department of Thoracic Surgery became a dynamic area of activity. In 2010, Centrum ATTIS merged with the Provincial Public Oncological Healthcare Institution. This broadened its services to include oncological care.
2013 was another turning point. Centrum Leczniczo-Rehabilitacyjne i Medycyny Pracy ATTIS became a commercial law company. However, it remained fully owned by the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
In 2017, the first public Women’s Oncology Center was opened. This center combined clinical oncology, surgical oncology, and gynecological oncology. It also provided rehabilitation and terminal care.
Wiktor Masłowski, the long-time President of the Board, died in 2021. Teresa Maria Bogiel became the new President of the Board. In April 2022, Mazowiecki Szpital Bródnowski merged with Centrum ATTIS.
