Seven missionaries from various parts of the world converged in São Paulo. Their mission? To establish Igreja Cristã Orebe. In 2011, their vision took root, blossoming into a vibrant community. Igreja Cristã Orebe is not just a church; it’s a testament to a dream, a dream to evangelize nations. This dream is deeply rooted in biblical teachings, drawing inspiration from passages like Matthew 28:18-20 and Colossians 1:6. Igreja Cristã Orebe identifies itself as an international, non-denominational, Bible-based Christian church. Its core belief revolves around God’s eternal plan: to create a people who love Him eternally. This belief manifests in their active pursuit of planting churches throughout Brazil and Latin America. The church’s growth has been remarkable. From its humble beginnings with seven founders, Igreja Cristã Orebe now boasts over 300 members in São Paulo. They are part of the Good News Network (GNN), a global movement of churches united in their mission. Leading Igreja Cristã Orebe in São Paulo are Vinicius and Beatriz Rodrigues. Their leadership guides the congregation and extends to Mercy Worldwide. Mercy Worldwide is the church’s benevolent arm, reaching out with social actions across the globe. Igreja Cristã Orebe welcomes those seeking answers about doctrine, those wanting to study the Bible, and those curious about a life of fully committed discipleship.
