In 1995 members of the Commissione Grotte Eugenio Boegan attempted to force a passage through a fissure in the east wall. They succeeded in descending several meters. The passage however soon narrowed making further progress impossible. In 1994 an intensive excavation campaign aimed to force that final fissure. The original pothole had been completely filled with debris. It was replaced by a corridor leading to an inner 15 meter pothole. Beyond this narrow eroded shaft lies a small 1.5 x 3 meter chamber.
