In 1966, Mr. Green acquired the land for the railway. It was then a swampy car wrecker’s dump. Through hard work, the society transformed it. The swamp was drained. The area was cleared. An initial simple loop evolved. It became an extensive double-track layout. It features a tunnel, viaduct, and locomotive facility.
