Thankfully, there’s Beit Migdalor, a beacon of hope standing right here before us. Beit Migdalor, meaning “Lighthouse” in Hebrew, is more than just a name; it’s a promise. Established by the Northern Goals Association, Beit Migdalor serves as a multi-service center dedicated to empowering individuals with visual impairments. With branches in Haifa, Tel Aviv, Be’er-Sheva, and Jerusalem, Beit Migdalor reaches over 5,000 people annually. Inside this building, individuals of all ages find a supportive community and a wealth of resources. Beit Migdalor’s approach is holistic, addressing the functional, vocational, emotional, and social needs of its clients. From learning daily living skills to receiving job training and counseling, Beit Migdalor helps individuals navigate the challenges of visual impairment and live fulfilling lives.
