It was built to replace the older, aging campuses of Yoyogi Seminar. The new building stands tall with 26 floors above ground and three below. Its modern design stands in sharp contrast to the older buildings it replaced. You can see it from the JR railway lines. It’s located near the JR Tokyo General Hospital. The Yoyogi Seminar Main School Yoyogi Tower isn’t just for students. The lower levels house classrooms, buzzing with eager learners. In 2009, this remarkable building received recognition for its innovative design. It won several prestigious awards, including the JSCA Award, the Japan Society of Seismic Isolation (JSSI) Award, the BCS Award, and the Good Design Award. The Yoyogi Seminar Main School Yoyogi Tower also has a special connection to Tokyo Medical and Dental University. The university uses the tower for center exams and secondary exams.
