Eventually all the parts were connected in 1988. The old brick building was kept intact. This pleased the school community. The 12-foot high ceilings in all the classrooms are a testament to that.
The school boasts impressive athletic achievements. St Pius X Catholic School’s teams have performed exceptionally well in many sports. They were also known for their W5H quiz teams. In 1984 to commemorate Toronto’s 150th birthday. A time capsule was placed in the school wall. It contains memorabilia from that time. This time capsule won’t be opened until 2034. No more portables.
