The heart of Sufism beats strongly here at Sufi-Zentrum Divan e.V.. You might be surprised to know that this center is directly connected to a lineage that traces back to the esteemed Naqshbandi Sufi Order. The Sufi-Zentrum Divan e.V. in Cologne stands as a beacon of this ancient tradition. It represents a lineage that once thrived in Berlin as Sufi Centre Rabbaniyya. This center, under the guidance of Sufi-Master Sheikh Eşref Efendi, opened its doors in Berlin in 2003. They later relocated to Cologne, bringing with them the rich tapestry of Sufi practices and teachings. Inside these walls, the timeless tradition of Sufism unfolds through sohbets, spiritual speeches that nourish the soul, and dhikrs, rhythmic chanting that elevates the spirit. These practices, often broadcasted live, draw a community of around 500 people, all seeking a deeper connection with the divine within the embrace of Sufi-Zentrum Divan e.V.. The Sufi-Zentrum Divan e.V. is more than just a building. It is a testament to the enduring spirit of Sufism.
