Wow What a transformation West Epping Park has undergone. Just imagine this space before its 2018 revitalization. A disused park hardly worth a second glance. Now look around.

Think about it. Two FIFA-standard soccer fields capable of transforming into cricket pitches. That’s smart design. Add to that a basketball court a skate park playgrounds picnic and barbecue areas. Even improved parking facilities. Everything is here for a perfect family day out.
But there’s more. The park wasn’t just built to meet standards. It exceeded them. Project Manager Dave Thackray spoke about the rewarding experience. He described seeing the community enjoy the new facilities for the first time. His pride is evident in the park itself. A testament to planning and community focus.
Note the shade sails over the toddler play area. These small details make a big difference. Especially on those hot summer days. The big slide is a hit with the children. It’s a constant source of squeals and laughter.
The park is truly inclusive. Wheelchair access is excellent. It’s even an off-leash area for dogs. West Epping Park is truly a park for everyone. Pets people families and even sports enthusiasts.
So take a moment to appreciate this green space. It’s more than just a park. It’s a community success story. A place where people connect and memories are made. A place where a disused park was reborn. A place called West Epping Park.
