Instead, they were all either donated, abandoned, or seized by customs. The zoo even serves as a refuge for animals in need, taking in those who have been neglected or mistreated. So, the Zoo is a testament to the love and compassion of the Monegasque people towards their furry, feathered, and scaly friends.
