“Tune in.” Those two words changed everything for WRRG-FM. This Chicago college radio station pulses with indie music.

WRRG-FM, located at Triton College, is more than just a radio station. It’s a launchpad. It is a voice for the students and the community. It began broadcasting on April 28, 1975. WRRG is a non-commercial station licensed by the FCC.

During the day, WRRG-FM plays the latest indie music. At night and on weekends, the station explores other genres. Jazz, underground and progressive rock fill the airwaves. You might also hear R&B, soul, hard rock, industrial, goth, and even heavy metal.

Want to get involved? WRRG runs a radio broadcasting class. It is offered through Continuing Education. The course number is MCM E01 201. The class is open to students, staff, faculty, and community members.
