Can you imagine Woodmansterne School with only primary school students? It might seem strange now, but Woodmansterne School, as we know it today, wasn’t always an all-through school. Originally, it only catered to primary-aged pupils. This all changed in 2016 when Lambeth London Borough Council decided to expand the school.
They embarked on a project to construct a secondary school department right here on the existing site. This expansion opened its doors to a new wave of older students in September 2017. Today, Woodmansterne School is a bustling hub for students aged 3 to 18. They offer a diverse range of academic pathways, including GCSEs, BTECs, and even Cambridge Nationals.
For those continuing their education beyond that, the sixth form at Woodmansterne School provides a selection of A-Levels and further BTEC courses. This blend of primary and secondary education makes Woodmansterne School a real cornerstone of the community.
