Withings was acquired by Nokia in 2016, becoming Nokia Health. But the Withings spirit remained strong. Éric Carreel reacquired the company in 2018, returning it to its roots and its original name. Withings emerged stronger than ever, continuing to develop innovative products. The Move ECG smartwatch in 2019 offered built-in ECG capabilities. In 2020, they launched the ScanWatch, a hybrid smartwatch with ECG, heart rate, and oximeter functionalities, solidifying their place at the forefront of health technology.
