Pastor Dan Johnson leads Westside Foursquare Church. He graduated from Eugene Bible College in 1978. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Literature. His major was Pastoral studies. Dan also attended Ministries Institute. It was at the Faith Center in Eugene from 1978-1980. He graduated from Bakke Graduate University in Seattle. It was in May 2008. He got a Master’s degree in Theology.

Before coming to Westside Foursquare Church, Dan served in various roles. From March 1979 to October 1983, he was College Pastor at Faith Center in Eugene. He was also an Associate Pastor. Dan led worship for Roy Hicks Jr. From October 1983 to September 1984, the Johnson family assisted Jared Roth. They pastored two churches in Lebanon, Oregon. These were Lebanon Foursquare Church and the Foursquare Church in Sweet Home. Dan served as Teaching Pastor, Worship Leader and Youth Pastor for both churches.

From September 1984 to July 1988, Dan was Senior Pastor of the Lebanon Foursquare Church. August 1988 to April 1995 saw Dan assisting Ken Johnson. This was at Westside Church in Bend, Oregon. He served as Teaching Pastor, Executive Pastor and Worship Leader.

Since May 1995, Dan has been the Senior Pastor of Westside Foursquare Church in West Seattle. Westside has helped plant 30 churches in Romania. This was through the Caleb Good News ministry. Jerry Riess leads this ministry. Westside shares their building with Casa de Oracion. This is a Spanish-speaking congregation led by Pastor Memo Lopez.

Westside Foursquare Church believes in studying and applying God’s word. This equips people to accomplish God’s purpose in their lives. Their goal is to stay true to the original meaning of Scripture. They want to make it applicable for our lives today.

Indoor services have resumed with modifications. Weekly teachings are shared on Facebook and YouTube. They are also available on the website. Service times are Sunday mornings at 10:00 am at Westside Foursquare Church.

Dan and his wife Lori have three children. Their names are Danny, Holly, and Rachel. They also have three wonderful grandchildren. Westside Foursquare Church is a place of community, faith, and service. It has local and global impact.
