Westside Christian Fellowship opens its doors early on Sundays, around 3:30 pm. The aroma of coffee and tea fills the air as people gather, exchanging friendly chatter before the service begins. At 4:30 pm, the service starts, a blend of worship and community. As the music fills the sanctuary, children head off to their own dedicated space, kids’ church. For parents with little ones, a crèche provides care throughout the service. But what truly sets Westside Christian Fellowship apart is what happens after the service. Around 5:45 pm, the atmosphere shifts. The congregation gathers for a shared dinner. It’s a unique tradition, a time for connection and fellowship over a warm meal. Westside Christian Fellowship isn’t just about Sunday services. Led by Pastors Kris and Megan Gilbert since 2014, their vision extends beyond the church walls. They aim to spread the gospel throughout Auckland, driven by a passion for their community and a commitment to the Great Commission.
