The Wembley Christian Centre’s story began not within these walls, but in a surprising location: a local pub called the Century Tavern. In 1992, a small group of believers, led by Vanessa Richardson and Soke Mun Ho, held their first service in the pub’s function room, aptly named the Lord’s Bar. Imagine their bold invitation: “Come on in and taste the new wine”. This unconventional start reflects the spirit of the Wembley Christian Centre, always striving to reach out to the community in innovative ways. Over time, the congregation grew. From those humble beginnings in a pub, Wembley Christian Centre eventually moved to Preston Manor High School. This growth wasn’t just about numbers, but about an expanding vision to impact not just Wembley but the entire world. Today, the Wembley Christian Centre stands as a testament to the power of faith.
