The club’s original boathouse dates back to 1930. Sadly progress demanded its removal to make way for the Weisenauer bridge. A new boathouse was built between 1960 and 1963. The Weisenauer Paddel-Club 1923 e. V. merged with the Weisenauer Ruderverein 1913 in April 22, 1966.

Today the Weisenauer Ruderverein 1913 boasts around 163 members. Ludwig Duersch is the current chairman. The club’s colors are blue and white. The boathouse sits on the left bank of the Rhine at kilometer 493.6.

The Weisenauer Ruderverein 1913 offers more than just rowing. It is for everyone. The club supports a range of activities. These include canoeing and women’s gymnastics. The club also focuses on general fitness activities like paddling, running and boules.

He finished seventh in the lightweight eight.
