Wow. Look at this stunning building. This is Villa Schütte in Bremen. It’s more than just a house. It’s a piece of Bremen’s history.

Built between 1914 and 1915 Villa Schütte stands proudly. It was commissioned by Albrecht Franz Schütte. He was the son of Franz Ernst Schütte a prominent Bremen businessman. Friedrich Wellermann and Paul Fröhlich designed this beautiful two-story villa. Note the impressive hipped roof.

The villa’s architectural style reflects the turn of the century. It’s a testament to the prosperity of Bremen at that time. Later additions were made to the rear of the building. A second two-story structure was even built on the property’s back.

Albrecht Franz Schütte wasn’t just any businessman. He served as president of the Bürgerparkverein from 1934 to 1966. This shows his dedication to Bremen’s community. He left a significant mark not just on the cityscape but also on Bremen’s green spaces.

Today Villa Schütte serves a different purpose. It’s the office of German Lashing Robert Böck GmbH. This impressive building continues to play a role in Bremen’s economic life. It’s been a testament to time and change.

The villa’s history is fascinating. It’s a story of family success and community involvement. But it’s also a story of architectural preservation. Villa Schütte is a Bremer landmark. It has been under monument protection since 1998. It continues to stand as a reminder of Bremen’s rich past. We are privileged to see this piece of history today.
