“A college with over 3,000 students? Here in the Maldives?” a student might ask, surprised. Yet, here stands Villa College, a testament to the power of dreams and the ambition for accessible education. Villa College is a beacon of knowledge in the Maldives. It was established to empower Maldivians with affordable, high-quality education. Founded by Qasim Ibrahim in 2007, its journey began with just twenty students. Imagine, in just a few short years, the college blossomed. Today, Villa College boasts a vibrant community of over 3,000 students! And that’s not all. Villa College has expanded its reach beyond our capital, Malé. It now encompasses eight campuses and thirteen learning centers across the Maldives. This commitment to accessibility has made Villa College a true pioneer in the country’s educational landscape.
