While only ashes remained hope remained that Vihara Dharma Bhakti would be rebuilt. It would be even more beautiful than before. Prayers were offered. People hoped to meet again in this sacred space.
Today Vihara Dharma Bhakti is home to 18 Buddhist monks. It represents a spiritual hotspot in Jakarta. Buddhists Confucians and Taoists share the temple. They bring offerings daily. They find their way through golden and red deity sculptures and effigies.
