UBM wasn’t always the large university you see today. It began as two distinct schools: Bunda Mulia’s School of Informatics and Information Management and Bunda Mulia’s School of Economics. Imagine these two institutions, each with its own focus and community, eventually merging to create something bigger. That merger is the foundation of Universitas Bunda Mulia. Officially established on June 10, 2003, UBM quickly became a prominent institution in North Jakarta. The university’s logo, a lowercase “ubm,” reflects a spirit of humility. The surrounding elliptical circle symbolizes the university’s continuous pursuit of improved human resources in a globalized world. The colors, too, tell a story. Blue represents engineering and technology. Creamy yellow signifies innovative and sharp thinking. Grey stands for modernity and intelligence. UBM has even been recognized as one of Indonesia’s promising universities. This recognition came after a rigorous selection process by the Directorate General of Higher Education. Out of over 2,000 universities, UBM was selected as one of only 156 promising institutions. In Jakarta’s region, UBM was one of just seven chosen. The university even has a second, more modern campus equipped with the latest technology. This campus, located on Jl.
