The Unidad de Posgrado was built between 2012 and 2013. Think about that. This whole magnificent structure rose from the ground in just a couple of years. It houses classrooms workshops laboratories libraries a cafeteria and even a bookstore. All spread over 30000 square meters. It’s located in the south of Ciudad Universitaria.
The design is unique. The building is circular. Different spaces connect via bridges terraces and stairs. It’s built around a plaza. This plaza is made of hand-carved volcanic stone.
