Was this paradise? Russ and Magdalena Fielden first laid eyes on the True Blue Inn back in 1998. They were captivated by the beauty of the True Blue area in Grenada. They knew instantly that this was the place they wanted to raise their two daughters. True Blue Point, jutting out gracefully into the Caribbean Sea, was a major part of that allure. The Fieldens weren’t the first to be enchanted by True Blue Point and they certainly wouldn’t be the last. The area’s stunning natural beauty, combined with the rich aromas of nutmeg, cinnamon, and cocoa carried on the tropical breeze, created a sensory symphony that was hard to resist. Over the years, the Fielden family transformed the True Blue Inn into a thriving eco-conscious resort. They embraced the local community, participated in local initiatives, and Russ even became the president of the Grenada Hotel Association, later receiving an OBE for his dedication. Magdalena, ever passionate about her Mexican heritage, became the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Grenada and a driving force behind the island’s burgeoning chocolate industry. She even founded the Grenada Chocolate Fest, a testament to her love for the island’s flavorful bounty. True Blue Point, a silent sentinel to the Fielden family’s journey, continues to enchant visitors with its timeless beauty.
