Envision this: a sprawling complex of pavilions hums with activity. This is the Feira Internacional de Lisboa. Also known as Trade Fair Lisbon. It stands as a testament to Portugal’s commitment to global commerce and innovation.

The Trade Fair Lisbon has a rich history that stretches back to the 19th century. It truly took shape in the 20th century. For years, the trade fair was located in the city center. Since Expo 1998, it has resided in the Parque das Nações. The Trade Fair Lisbon is right by the Tagus river.

Covering 100000 square meters, the Feira Internacional de Lisboa is more than just a venue. It is a dynamic hub for diverse industries. The four main pavilions offer over 10200 square meters of exhibition space. Most pavilions reach a height of 10 meters. Pavilion 1 soars to 15 meters. Lecture halls and seminar rooms are available at the Convention Centre.

Imagine the sheer scale. It equals eleven football fields. The four pavilions are interconnected by an exterior metal bridge.

But the Trade Fair Lisbon is not just about exhibition space. It includes a modern meeting center. It has three auditoriums and five meeting rooms. There is also a multi-use pavilion spanning 1200 square meters. Shops and restaurants dot the grounds. An underground parking garage accommodates 830 vehicles. An additional 10000 parking spaces are in the vicinity.

The “Estação do Oriente” is just 3 minutes away. Buses, metro, trains, taxis, and ferries depart from there. The city center is about 20 minutes from the fairgrounds.

Since its move to Parque das Nações in 1999, the Feira Internacional de Lisboa has modernized. Portugal now possesses facilities that rival international standards.

Each year, the Trade Fair Lisbon hosts approximately 40 events. These range from trade shows to venue rentals. It also offers an array of services intrinsic to exhibitions. The exhibitions occur annually, biannually, and biennially. They cover tourism, furniture, food, hotels, decoration, and construction. Handicrafts and cultural industries are also represented.
