Feel the ancient energy radiating from the Stones of Life. These four massive lava rocks are more than just stones. They are a living legacy a testament to a powerful legend.

Here before you stand the Stones of Life also known as Na Pohaku Ola Kapaemahu a Kapuni. They embody Oahu’s rich vibrant culture. Legend speaks of four Tahitian healers who arrived in Waikiki centuries ago possibly around 400 AD. Their names were Kapaemahu Kahaloa Kapuni and Kinohi.

These healers possessed incredible powers. They eased the aches and pains of the islanders. Their fame spread throughout the islands. But they didn’t plan to stay. Their wish was to share their gifts. They asked the islanders to create a monument in their honor.

On a moonlit night thousands of people gathered. They moved these enormous stones from Kaimuki to Waikiki. Each stone weighed over a ton. The healers performed ceremonies. They imbued the stones with their healing mana their spiritual power.

After their work the healers vanished. The Stones of Life remained. They became a sacred site. People continued to visit them seeking healing and offering respect. Princess Likelike sister of King Kalakaua is said to have left flower leis on the stones before swimming.

Today the stones are protected within a fence. A plaque details their story in Hawaiian and English. Many still come to honor the Stones of Life. Some leave flower leis a tradition continuing a centuries-old connection. The Stones of Life are a powerful reminder of Hawaii’s unique heritage its amazing culture and its wonderful people. They stand as a symbol of healing mana and the enduring spirit of the islands. A visit here is a journey through time a connection to the past and a moment of reflection.
