The club’s clubhouse is a Grade I listed building known as Sudbrook House. It was built in 1725 and is a beautiful example of English Palladian architecture. The golf course itself was designed by Tom Dunn, one of the most prolific designers of the late 19th century. It’s interesting to know that the course underwent a significant renovation between 2010 and 2012, resulting in the addition of 56 new bunkers. These changes helped the course become more challenging and have contributed to its popularity. The Richmond Golf Club offers its prestigious location to visitors and members alike, blending the history of the building with the game of golf.
