“Did someone say football?” Right here, in front of The Quest Academy, a familiar face once graced these halls. Before he was leading the England national football team, Roy Hodgson was a teacher at The Quest Academy. Of course, back then it was known as Monks Hill Comprehensive School. The school, which officially became The Quest Academy in 2010, has seen its fair share of notable figures walk its corridors. Another famous alumni, Premier League footballer Wilfried Zaha, once honed his skills on the academy’s playing fields. The academy has a rich history, dating back to its time as Selsdon High School and later Monks Hill Comprehensive. Today, The Quest Academy stands as a testament to its commitment to education, nurturing future generations in the London Borough of Croydon.
