The Hong Kong Racing Museum sits on the second floor. You will find it in the Happy Valley Stand of the Happy Valley Racecourse. This location is fitting. The museum showcases over 170 years of racing history.
Inside The Hong Kong Racing Museum, you will find four galleries. These galleries are topic-related. They cover horses, history, and stories of the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Each gallery offers a unique glimpse into this world.
The Hong Kong Racing Museum is open daily. From Monday to Sunday, you can visit between 12:00 noon and 7:00 pm. On race days for Night Races and Twilight Races, the museum extends its hours. It stays open from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm.
Getting here is straightforward. You can take the MTR to Causeway Bay Station. Use Exit A then walk for about 10 minutes from Times Square. Several bus routes also serve the racecourse. Bus numbers 37B, 37X, 38, 42, 65, 72, 72A, 75, 77, 90, 96, 97, and 592 will all get you close.
