“A church born from unity.” That’s what they call The Grove Centre Church sometimes. It’s quite a story actually. Right here, in the heart of London, stands The Grove Centre Church. It has a unique history. The Grove Centre Church wasn’t always just one church. It was formed in 1968 from the merger of a Congregational Church and a Baptist Church. This union makes it a member of both the United Reformed Church and the Baptist Union, a testament to its inclusive spirit. This coming together of two denominations speaks volumes about the community spirit of the church.
