In 1982, Temasek Junior College began offering the Humanities Scholarship Programme. This program was coordinated by the Ministry of Education. In 2005, TJC launched the Temasek Academy. This was a four-year Integrated Programme. By 2013, the Integrated Programme expanded into a six-year course. It admitted students after their Primary School Leaving Examination.
The college crest of Temasek Junior College is quite symbolic. It features the letters TJC in bold form. The letter T resembles the Lecture Theatres.
