Once at Te Wharau Bay you’ll find a beautiful sandy beach. This provides a welcome contrast to the rocky coast. The water here is deeper than at Waipokaia Bay. This makes it ideal for a refreshing swim. Take your swimwear. Pack a picnic to enjoy the stunning views. The whole walk from and back to the car park takes about 90 minutes.
