Te Kuiti Cottage

Tucked away on Umupuia beach, beneath the watchful gaze of Duder Regional Park, sits Te Kuiti Cottage. Te Kuiti Cottage isn’t just any beach house. It’s a portal to tranquility, a two-bedroom escape from the ordinary. A mere five-minute stroll from the cottage unveils Duder Regional Park. Here, panoramic views of the Tamaki Straits stretch out before you. Nearby, the villages of Clevedon and Maraetai offer charming cafes and local shops. Te Kuiti Cottage welcomes up to four guests for a maximum stay of seven nights. Check-in begins at 2 pm, while check-out is at noon. The cottage boasts two cozy bedrooms. One features a queen-sized bed, perfect for couples. The other offers single bunk beds and an additional single bed, ideal for families or small groups. Children under nine should avoid the top bunk. Remember to bring your own linen, blankets, pillows, towels, and, of course, your appetite. The cottage is equipped with all the essential kitchen facilities. A fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, and kettle are at your disposal. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery are also provided. The bathroom includes a shower and toilet. Electric oil column heaters and a wood fire in the lounge ensure a warm and inviting atmosphere, regardless of the weather. Te Kuiti Cottage relies on a tank water supply, so conservation is key. Standard domestic power is available. A few house rules ensure a pleasant stay for everyone. Pets are not permitted. Guests are expected to maintain cleanliness during their stay and upon departure. There are no rubbish disposal facilities on-site, so please take all rubbish and recycling with you. A maximum of two vehicles are allowed to park at the cottage. Parking beyond the house or on the foreshore is prohibited, as is camping in tents or vehicles around the cottage. Open fires are not allowed at any time.
