Opened in 1961, Te Atatu Congregational Church has witnessed the transformation of Te Atatu South. This wasn’t always the bustling suburb you see today. Back then, Te Atatu was a burgeoning community ripe for spiritual growth. The church founders saw an opportunity. They established Te Atatu Congregational Church at 136 Te Atatu Road on February 26, 1961. The church quickly became a cornerstone of the community. The 60s and 70s were a period of remarkable growth for Te Atatu Congregational Church. This growth laid a solid foundation. This allows the church to continue its ministry today. Te Atatu Congregational Church remains a vibrant hub. It embraces a welcoming atmosphere. The church leaders, Pastor Moses Anisi, invite everyone to join their 11:00 am service. They extend a warm welcome to locals and travelers alike. The church embodies the spirit of John 6:37. “Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away.” Te Atatu Congregational Church has deep roots in this community. It continues to serve as a beacon of faith and fellowship.
