The campground is accessible via Deerys Road. Drive past the Pou. Then navigate around a sharp right-hand bend. Continue down the small hill. You’ll find the campground past the ford. A locked gate secures the area.
Water is limited. Be sure to boil it for at least three minutes before drinking. There is no power supply. Fires are prohibited at all times to protect the park. Dogs and other pets are not allowed.
Tāpapakanga Regional Park is open from 6am to 9pm during daylight savings hours. During non-daylight saving hours, it closes earlier at 7pm.
