Tāmaki Community Church believes in one God. This God exists in three persons Father Son and Holy Spirit. They believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God. He had a virgin birth and lived a sinless life. His death was victorious and atoning. He miraculously resurrected and ascended to Heaven. He will return to reign as King of kings.

The church considers the Holy Bible as the infallible Word of God. They see it as authoritative and the foundation for Christian doctrine. Human authors wrote it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Tāmaki Community Church also believes mankind is separated from God because of sin. Salvation comes only through trusting Jesus Christ. God offers forgiveness through Him. This saves people from death and eternal separation. They value sacraments like communion and baptism. The church is the body of Christ. Believers should fulfill their God-given potential.
