Sts. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church

In 1978, a seed of faith was planted in Dallas. This seed blossomed into Sts. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church. Metropolitan PHILIP of the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America oversaw its founding. Sts. Constantine and Helen Church was established to serve the local Orthodox community. It also aimed to introduce the historical Christian faith to others. The church welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. Today, Sts. Constantine and Helen Church continues to thrive under Metropolitan SABA. The Very Rev. Fr. David Lewis leads the congregation as pastor. He has served since 2013. Before arriving at Sts. Constantine and Helen, Fr. David served as Assistant Pastor at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church in Austin. His journey to Orthodoxy began with a search for apostolic authority and authentic Christian worship. He found this within the Orthodox Church. The church stands as a testament to the enduring power of faith. It embraces people from diverse cultures and religious backgrounds. The services, conducted in English, offer an authentic experience of ancient Christian traditions. The church also offers classes for those curious about the Orthodox Christian faith. These include Church School classes for all ages. Numerous ministries encourage active participation within the church community. In 2020, Sts. Constantine and Helen Church embarked on an expansion project. A new temple was built, adding 7,400 square feet and increasing seating capacity. The new temple opened its doors on Mother’s Day in 2022. The church continues to evolve and grow, a beacon of faith in the Dallas area. It invites everyone to “Come and See” the beauty of Orthodox Christianity.
